is the Director of P-12 Education Policy for the Latino Policy Forum. Erika promotes policy change in early childhood and K-12 public education through a lens of Latino and English Learner equity. Erika leads the Forum's policy portfolio around:

Erika received her Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Michigan and her bachelor's in liberal arts from Beloit College. Erika is a contributing author to Documentation-status concerns and Latinx parental school involvement, published in 2019 journal for Translational Issues in Psychological Science as well as several Latino Policy Forum reports. Erika also served as an advisory member for the Latinos for Education’s Latino Educator Advisory, a national effort to increase Latino and bilingual teacher representation in Education.
