Steven Arroyo

Communications Manager

Steven Arroyo is the communications manager for the Latino Policy Forum, where he serves as the organization's media liaison, writes content, and develops communications strategies to promote Latino inclusion in public policy discourse.

Before joining the Forum in 2019, he lived in Madrid, Spain, for two years, where he taught English Second Language classes to all ages. Prior to that, he served as an editor for Hispanic Executive and several other trade magazines in Chicago. He has reported for various healthcare publications on issues including barriers to access and workplace discrimination and has also written for Time magazine, La Raza, Pitchfork, and CBS Chicago. Arroyo is coauthor of Clamor Chicago: Lucha, Retos Y Éxitos de la Comunidad Latina Frente Al Covid-19 Y Otros Asuntos, which won the gold medal for the Victor Villaseñor Best Latino Focused Nonfiction Book–Spanish or Bilingual at the 2021 International Latino Book Awards.
