Roberto Valdez Jr.

Community & Government Affairs Liaison

Roberto is a Community & Government Liaison for the Latino Policy Forum. Roberto’s communications and policy experience ecompasses work with non-profit organizations, in the private sector, on political campaigns, and on Capitol Hill.  His political work includes time as a Digital Campaign Manager for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee during the 2015-2016 campaign cycle and as Communications Director for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2017.

His work at the Forum involves monitoring and maintaining the Forum’s media portfolio, contributing to the Forum’s community outreach, press and social media messaging, spearheading the Forum’s website, and helping with the Forum’s overall branding.

Roberto received his B.A. in Communications from Arizona State University in 2012 and is originally from Nogales, AZ.
